It is not too late to order your yearbook! Yearbooks are $25, cash or check payable to Freeport Middle School. Please see Mrs. Bushby in the library.
8TH GRADE PARENTS
8TH GRADE PARENT CHAPERONES ARE NEEDED.~ After the 8th grade ceremony on June 17th, the 8th graders will be going bowling in Portland.~ We need a minimum of 10-12 parents who can chaperone the event.~ If you would like to volunteer, please send an email to Kim Burke at dandy815@suscom-maine.net or call 865-6801 to leave a message.
SUMMER TRIP
Looking for fun ways to hang out with your friends this summer? How about a FREE trip? We have trips for FREE to: the Sea Dogs, canoeing the Saco River, a ferry ride from South Freeport to Peaks Island for a bike ride on Peaks. Sign up with some friends!

STUDENT ART GALLERY
The Student Art Gallery is now open in the library and iPod tours with student podcasts are available for checkout. See the librarian to check out an iPod Nano for the Gallery tour.
RUNNING PROGRAM
Any eighth grader who is interested in running next year may contact the coach, Brian Berkemeyer, via email. His email address is brian_berkemeyer@coconetme.org Let the coach know which season you are interested in: Fall-XC, Winter-Indoor Track, Spring-Outdoor Track.
There is a summer running program beginning in late June through July and preseason XC begins August 17th.

Looking for something fun to do this summer? Be sure to keep an eye on what's happening at The PORT!. Join us for Teen Treks Tuesdays through Thursdays, and look for Friday events like open hours at the teen center or Friday night bbqs!
