TEEN CENTER
Attention 7th & 8th graders. The PORT teen center is open every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 2:30 – 6 pm. Thursday from 2:30 – 7 pm and Friday from 2:30 – 8 pm.  Bus #20 will drop students off at the teen center, however you must have a note from home in order to take Bus #20.   The Teen Center is a great spot to do homework, shoot pool, challenge someone to a game of fuse ball, play video games, take a creative class they offer.  It is a great spot to be after school!  For questions call the directory Roney Polizotto at 865-6171 x 29.

We still have room in our creative writing class and quilting.  The writing is Mondays 3-4:30 and quilting Tuesdays 3-4:30.  We have one middle schooler in writing from Pownal and I would love to see more.  If it helps I don't anticipate homework!

U OF MAINE - ORONO
Are you a 7th or 8th grade girl?  Do you feel like getting away for a day? Then we have a great activity for you.  Join us for a daylong conference at The University of Maine at Orono on March 13th.  There you will learn about exciting career opportunities for girls in the fields of math and science. There are fun activities planned to show you to possibilities that may await you. It is a chance to check out opportunities that you may not know about and to spend some time on a college campus.

YEARBOOK
The Yearbook committee has been hard at work taking photos, and setting-up pages.   Our next mission is to sell.  YEARBOOK sales will be during lunch beginning the week of March 3.  $20.00 per book.  Checks made payable to FMS.  Thanks for your support.
