TEEN CENTER
Attention 7th & 8th graders. The PORT teen center is open every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 2:30 – 6 pm. Thursday from 2:30 – 7 pm and Friday from 2:30 – 8 pm. Bus #20 will drop students off at the teen center, however you must have a note from home in order to take Bus #20. The Teen Center is a great spot to do homework, shoot pool, challenge someone to a game of fuse ball, play video games, take a creative class they offer. It is a great spot to be after school! For questions call the directory Roney Polizotto at 865-6171 x 29.
The PORT, Freeport Teen Center, would like to invite 7th and 8th grade MS students to come to the PORT on March 18th, after _ day dismissal. The PORT will open up after the early dismissal release. Students can take bus 20 to the PORT on that afternoon. To help with planning, we would like students interested in this to sign up in the MS office on the sign up sheet. The PORT will have snacks available and activities for all.
TEAM INTREPID TRIO
Been wondering how you can support Henry Nichols, Phineas and Lincoln Samuelson as they recover? You are invited to participate in or contribute to the Brain Injury Association of Maine's Walk for Thought in South Portland on Saturday, March 22.
To sign up you can log on to www.biame.org There is no set registration fee; just pick an amount you are comfortable with and sign up. Or if you want to register the old fashioned way, brochures are available in Olympia Sports. You can also mail registrations or contributions to Brain Injury Association of Maine, 13 Washington St. Waterville, ME 04901.
Participants do not need to worry about soliciting sponsors, but if you hear of others who cannot walk but want to be a part of our effort, you can recruit them to make a contribution. Or if you are reading this and want to contribute, you can go to www.biame.org Our team is called Intrepid Trio.
You can call or e-mail Katrina Van Dusen with questions or ideas.
katrina@suscom-maine.net, 865-6599
Let’s hope it will be a balmy, sunny morning on March 22! Go team!
